许云平，男，1975年生。北京大学城市与环境学院研究员。1998年和2001年先后获北京大学应用化学专业学士学位和环境科学专业硕士学位。2005年获美国佛罗里达国际大学化学系分析化学博士学位。2006至2008年在加拿大多伦多大学物理与环境科学系从事博士后研究。2008至今为北京大学城市与环境学院百人计划研究员、博士生导师。主要从事有机地球化学和环境演变的研究，2005年以来在Geophysical Research Letters, Organic Geochemistry等期刊发表SCI论文20篇，引用超过200次，并为Earth & Planetary Science Letters, International Journal of Climatology等10多个国际期刊审稿。
